CORE CONCEPT:

Hip-Hop has always been for the innovators. The dreamers, capable of transforming whatever they have into something undeniably powerful. Creators, so relentless in the pursuit of their dreams, they’re willing to go against the grain to achieve them. To strike their own path and find their own way to write their own stories of success.

Raise the Crown celebrates the culture, giving voice and opportunity to anyone chasing their own American dreams to raise the volume, raise a Budweiser, and Raise The Crown to Hip-Hop.

TAGLINE:

Raise The Crown. It’s an invitation to celebrate 50 years of greatness while looking ahead to crown the next generation of Hip-Hop’s legends. It’s not simply a nod to raising a budweiser to the culture, but a statement of intent from the brand — Budweiser will help celebrate and elevate the once and future Kings and Queens of Hip-Hop.

DESIGN:
The design system for Raise the Crown had to feel young and contemporary while remaining true to 150 years of tradition. Taking advantage of Budweiser’s established brand we pushed on the bounderies experimenting with combined typography and utilizing the crown icon in a way that interacts with the subject of our photography.
