There are music industry heavy weights and then there’s Lyor Cohen, man is an absolute legend. His deft navigation of the ever changing music landscape is a masterclass in combining refined taste, incredible foresight, and unrivaled business acumen. So when he left Sony to start his own label, 300 Entertainment, the music world was all eyes and ears.
Never-Not teamed up with creative iconoclasts, Uncle & Prophet, to build a brand, campaign, and website that would announce the 300 to the world.
CORE CONCEPT:
It’s A New Day.
Named after the Spartans from The Battle of Thermopylae, and looking to take down the giants of the industry, 300’s launch was a new day in music. Playing on that concept we introduced the brand to the world with image of Lyor awakening, opening his eyes to the new world as you scroll initially scroll the announcment site. “Its a New Day” would go on to carry throughout the entire launch campaign represent the change that 300 was bringing music.
